Move Your Body, Change Your Life!!

Move To Feel Groovy

The way you move your body affects how you feel.  I wonder how you typically carry yourself on a daily basis.  Are your shoulders back and head high?  Do you drag your feet or walk fast?  What type of activities do you pursue?  Do you dance, get down on the floor to play a game?  Do you go for evening walks?  Do you pump iron?

Let Your Light Shine

Today I was at a Zumba class, movin’ my body and really felt the need to share about the power of movement.  I think we often feel like we have to fit in, be normal, not be too loud (even if we feel like shouting for joy).  We might even feel like we shouldn’t move/dance like we want to for fear of looking stupid to others.  Sometimes we dull our own capabilities down so as not to make others uncomfortable or to make sure they won’t think we’re showing off.  When we don’t move our bodies in joyful ways we are hindering ourselves and others from enjoying the freedom that we’ve been given.

You Have The Power To Change How You Feel

What a load of crap!!  We need to condition ourselves to have fun because it feels good.  Enough of this, “I’m feeling tired, bored, achy, or unattractive.”  Getting active in ways that make you feel REALLY good is key to changing your emotional state!  Your energy will increase.  You will feel better.  Your outlook on your current situation may become more clear.  Maybe you’ll receive a fresh, helpful perspective.  Movement does that. It has the power to change your life.  It’s kind of like a miracle drug.  You can ‘take’ it whenever you want with no ill side effects!

Cheers to more joyful movement in your life.  May it change your life (in many ways) for the better!  Please remember to share with me how you like to ‘move it’ on my facebook page!  That’s where the great conversation happens xo

With Love,

Amy

What are some activities you can reintroduce into your life?  What could you try out to see if you liked it?

Testimonials

During my coaching sessions with Amy I was given many techniques to deal with personal stress provoking situations.  I regularly use these techniques now.
Monique Robertson
Amy helped me identify and acknowledge my insecurities and fears.  Now I know I don’t have to live in fear. I don’t have to be afraid to show the world who I am.
Rocio Olvera
My life is fuller than it was before I met Amy.  I have more confidence and zest for life!  I want to do more for me and by doing so, for others.
Holly Brading
My time management has radically improved and I am getting a better handle on my finances.  Most importantly, my personal dreams and spiritual goals are flourishing.  My ability to relate well to my coworkers and handle my own stress has also benefited immensely.
Kisa Macdonald, Lawyer
One key principle Amy encouraged me to implement was to guard my rest (unplugging from the world and its demands). As I took care of myself better my focus and energy increased as well as my resiliency to deal with my life as a whole.  I saw how this internal peace improved my decision making, conflict resolution and even building up my business.
Jenn Co.
As a physician and mother, itʼs always been a challenge to balance work, home and self-care, but now I have more tools and ideas to make this easier.  Amy helped me set clear goals to improve my quality of life and it was amazing to see the improvement over the course of the eight sessions.
