Be Your (Better) Self

To become the person you want to become, one who will help others live inspirational lives, you need to be consistent in your habits.  Who would you need to become in order to live a life that inspires others?  Would you need to reign in your thoughts so the negative, judgemental or self criticizing ones weren’t allowed any space?  Maybe you would need to stop taking certain actions, like purchasing a super sweet hot chocolate every time you went into town (true, past story).

Let’s say you want to become someone who exudes health and beauty.  If you don’t feel your current self is congruent with who you want to be then something needs to change.  When we are willing to change, life will flow forward.  When we resist change, growth just takes longer and we repeat the same learning experience over and over until we’re willing to be molded.  I know this is truth because I’ve experienced it.

So what can you do?  First, envision your ideal self.  What does she look like, act like?  What does she believe about herself and others?  Maybe she believes that her dreams ARE attainable with focus, support and accountability.  She may believe that she doesn’t have to please everyone on her path to becoming her true self.  Maybe one of her highest values would need to be fun or self care or integrity.

Speaking personally, once I determined who I wanted to become, I needed to make some uncomfortable decisions.  Saying yes to something new in life means saying no to a lot of good, but not GREAT things.  If you really want to become that truly rad, awesome, inspirational, hot woman you desire to be….you know, the one who uses her life to the FULLEST, then you’ll need to start making decisions to support your desire.

The people who are meant to be in your life will thank you!

Lots of love and please leave your thoughts below!

My time management has radically improved and I am getting a better handle on my finances.  Most importantly, my personal dreams and spiritual goals are flourishing.  My ability to relate well to my coworkers and handle my own stress has also benefited immensely.

Amy helped me identify and acknowledge my insecurities and fears.  Now I know I don’t have to live in fear. I don’t have to be afraid to show the world who I am.
Rocio Olvera
As a physician and mother, itʼs always been a challenge to balance work, home and self-care, but now I have more tools and ideas to make this easier.  Amy helped me set clear goals to improve my quality of life and it was amazing to see the improvement over the course of the eight sessions.
Anonymous Physician Chick
My life is fuller than it was before I met Amy.  I have more confidence and zest for life!  I want to do more for me and by doing so, for others.
Holly Brading
During my coaching sessions with Amy I was given many techniques to deal with personal stress provoking situations.  I regularly use these techniques now.
Monique Robertson
One key principle Amy encouraged me to implement was to guard my rest (unplugging from the world and its demands). As I took care of myself better my focus and energy increased as well as my resiliency to deal with my life as a whole.  I saw how this internal peace improved my decision making, conflict resolution and even building up my business.
